Life Preschooling
the Kindergoblin
A 30-something alt-y "Play At Home Mom" created a blog to share how we are following a cooperative (parent and child led) early home educational approach with our son. Take a spin around our page and always feel free to drop a line in our Ask Box - if you would like to know more about these terms - or even about us. Thanks!

Dinosaur Sensory Play:

This was a easy and quick sensory tub to do with the kids. It had lots of different textures and smells for the kids to interact with, including:

Coco Pops, Couscous, Uncooked Pasta, Fresh Herbs and Rice

We added popsicle sticks as an afterthought, but it add another element to their play “Feeding the baby dinosaurs!”

Made some word family cards for Nicholas. I didn’t think he’d like them as much as he does. The Powerpuff Girls is on and he is not even watching.

I probably should have color coded them. He’s got them all mixed up now, but that’s okay.

Father of the year award goes to the dad who defended his son’s Sofia the First princess dvd.

The Kindergoblin grabbed a HUGE pink bunny from the 1/2 price easter bins at walmart a while back. Elias said that if anyone dared to say a word about it - he would be happy to tell them exactly where they could go. <3 So much love to awesome dads!
